Leiby’s murderer fed him a cocktail of prescription drugs before suffocating him and dismembering his body.
The eight-year-old was found dead last week, two days after he went missing on his way home from a Orthodox Jewish day camp near his home in Brooklyn, New York.An autopsy on Leiby Kletzky’s body found a muscle relaxant, an anti-psychotic drug and two pain medications in his system, prompting the medical examiner to conclude he was drugged and then smothered to death.
Prosecutors say Levi Aron, 35, has confessed he kidnapped Leiby and then killed him, hiding body parts in his freezer and a nearby dumpster. In leaked excerpts from his confession, Aron said, “I’m sorry for the hurt that I caused.”
He pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned on July 14 and was sent for psychiatric evaluation after his attorney claimed he’d been hearing voices.
Aron is expected to be indicted this week.

The world has a lot of sick people in it. A little boy simply asking for help getting home gets this. So unfair and so horrible. I really wish that Mr. Aron is sentenced properly for his actions.
Even then, an entire family is ruined and this little boy will never get a chance to grow up. My thoughts and prayers are with them and the community.
