Not only was Jennifer Lopez paid a reported $1 million to perform at an oil tycoon’s son’s wedding in the Ukraine, but the highest security precautions were taken to make sure she was safe!

Less than a week after announcing her separation from husband Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez performed at oil tycoon Azam Aslamov‘s son’s wedding in the Ukraine — and from the sheer amount of security measures taken, you would have thought the world’s most important leaders were in town!

The country’s newspaper, Segodnya, reports the 41-year-old singer sang at the wedding party July 19 for a whopping $1 million. Held at the Crimean Aivazovskii Hotel, the hotel’s staff was evacuated from the premise July 17-20 to ensure complete privacy.

The gig couldn’t have felt too much like work for Jennifer. She reportedly slept in a penthouse suite and had her dancers, vocal singers and “20 tons of sound equipment” along for the ride.

Upon leaving the hotel, J. Lo was kept hidden from any fans, riding in a train of three bulletproof vehicles.

We can’t imagine getting back to work so quickly after separating, but it sounds like Jen did it in pure, lavish style. After all, would we expect anything less from our favorite diva?
