In a new interview with Us Weekly, Denise admits that her crazed ex Charlie Sheen has met her new baby: ‘Charlie is truly very happy for me.’ Wow, shocking!
Denise Richards is overjoyed with her new life as a mother of three, and admits fulfilling her dream of adopting another child was not easy, as some would assume. “Some people think if a celebrity wants a baby, they get one the next day,” Denise, 40, tells Us Weekly. “The adoption process took two years. There were times I felt discouraged, times when I got close to adopting a baby and it fell through. But I knew the right baby would find us.” And she did — meet Eloise Joni!
“She’s brought so much joy, and I love her to pieces,” Denise says, adding that her two daughters, with ex-husband Charlie Sheen, Sam, 7, and Lola, 6, are thrilled with their new sister, and “very protective.”
But Denise, and her girls, don’t seem to mind the fact that Charlie, who has caused quite a stir of controversy lately, comes to visit baby Eloise.
“We talk every day. He’s met her,” Denise explains of Charlie. “He knows how much I love, love kids, so he was very supportive. Charlie is truly very happy for me. He knows I always wanted more kids.”
So is Eloise the last baby for Denise? Not necessarily!
“I love my girls. But I think I’ll have another one,” she admits, “when I meet the right partner.”
