The star is known for taking risks on the red carpet, but was her dark dress too drab or totally delightful? VOTE!
Emma Stone is a busy gal, promoting not one, but two different movies — but she still manages to keep things interesting, wearing a slew of high-fashion frocks! While she donned a bright pink and red get-up for the premiere of Friends With Benefits, the very next night, July 19, she showed off a darker dress for the premiere of Crazy, Stupid, Love. Emma’s the first star to wear a look from Tom Ford‘s Fall 2011 collection on the red carpet, where she opted for the lace dress with a velvet ribbon.
While I think the look is sophisticated and chic, and I love the way it’s consistent with Emma’s edgy sense of style, I wish she opted for something more summery — especially since we’re in the middle of a heat wave here in NYC! I don’t know how she wasn’t melting in the heavy frock, although she looked gorgeous.
Considering it wasn’t a basic silhouette, I’m sure some might not have enjoyed the choice on Emma — but in my book she can do no wrong!
What did you think of her dress last night?
