Matt says his A-list BFFs can’t go anywhere without a flurry of attention, equating their lives to a real-life prison sentence!
Matt Damon is happy to fly under the radar, and in a new interview with German TV channel TELE5, he says he pities celebrities who don’t have the same luxury. “I have friends who are like prisoners — Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, for instance,” he says. “They can’t just go someplace. If they go for a walk, it turns into an international incident.”
“I have the best of both worlds,” he continues. “I do the work that I love and need, but don’t need paramilitary troops to protect me when I walk out my front door.”
While we’re not going to pretend that we don’t love every glimpse of Brad, Angie and their brood, we have to ask: Do you really think it’s fair to compare the super-couple to prisoners?
Drop us a comment and let us know what you think!

Urgh, I hate it when people read too much into statements like this. OBVIOUSLY matt damon isn’t saying their lives are comparable to prisoners, he’s just making a point that they can’t get out without causing a scene. It’s stuff like this that makes celebs way to p.c. because they know every word is scrutinised and looked into too much.
