Kate Middleton & Prince William Go On Movie Date—But Disagree Over What Film To See! Guess Who Won!

Surprise! Royal newlyweds Prince William and Kate Middleton enjoy cozy movie dates just like the rest of us!

The handsome heir took a break from his Royal Air Force training on Saturday to take his new bride to the Cineworld cinema complex in Llandudno Junction in Wales, near their home on the island of Anglesey. But they didn’t quite agree on which film to see—and you’ll never guess which movie hopeless romantic Kate chose!

William was keen on seeing the action-packed sci-fi film Transformers: Dark of the Moon, but according to one Welsh source, matrimonially-minded Kate was eager to see the comedy Bridesmaids, in which actress Maya Rudolph plays a bridezilla who enlists Kristen Whig as her maid of honor. Kate’s sister Pippa was her maid of honor. As for which movie they chose, Kate won out, and the couple saw Bridesmaids.

The adorable outing didn’t go unnoticed by locals.

Tweeted one local: “Can’t believe Prince William and Kate at the cinema in Llandudno!!!”

A surprised resident also tweeted, “Saw prince William n Kate at the cinema earlier......mental.”

Another tweeted, “My friend from Uni has just seen Prince William and Kate Middleton in my local cinema. (Llandudno Junction) #omg #willandkate”

A very happy local tweeted, “i mean, william and kate are always hovering over my house and all, but the fact they were just in my local cinema has made my life.”

And one less-than-enthused resident tweeted on Saturday, “Still puking that Kate and William are in Junction Cinemas right now watching Bridesmaids. I live 2 seconds away.”

And how do we know that William wanted the Transformers and Kate Bridesmaids?

That’s an old photo. Can you at least identify it as such?

By the way, please get Catherine Duchess of Cambridge name correct. YOu writers continue to call her Kate Middleton. Remember she married Prince William on April 29th of this year and was given the name Catherine Duchess of Cambridge. You can call her the Duchess or Princess Catherine (which the Queen has given her ok if the public want to call her “Princess”). So let’d give her the respect and call her by the proper title and name.

It annoys me too and I’m not even British. She’s been married into the Royal family for almost 3 months but it seems that each and every staff member of HL has amnesia and forgot the whole event. They write about the Princess as if she was still unmarried. Please, note that she’s a Royal now with a proper title not a commoner. I don’t really understand this, I thought Americans like titles and the people who wear them so why can’t this site use the proper form of address in case of Pricess Catherine/The Duchess of Cambridge. Give her the same respect as you give to Prince William.

Nice to see that they are just like you & me, going to the movies. Just love the idea that they can go out in public and not have the press following them all over. I say thank you to the people of Wales to let them live their lives in private.
