Jennifer’s smash album ‘Love?’ was released in April — and one of the songs she co-wrote very explicitly tells of trouble in paradise for the couple!
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony shocked the world with news of their divorce, but fans who were paying attention to Jennifer’s recent album Love? were not surprised — she discussed the split before it even happened!
Jennifer, 41, and Marc, 42, revealed their divorce on July 15, but on April 28 she dropped her latest album. The song she cowrote was called “One Love,” and several lyrics hinted at romantic trouble she was having.
In one section, she sounds very questioning of love — for a woman who has a husband:
“Is there one love / Only once in a lifetime? / It’s so hard to find / The perfect one to call mine / Is there one love / Somebody that compliments me? / And makes me wanna never leave? / Made just right for me?”
Also, she seems hesitant about opening up about an unnamed crooner.
“He sang to me but I’m not sure / So worn out, but love just saw.”
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers — was Jennifer intentionally dropping hints of the divorce, or was this coincidental?
