OMG HollywoodLifer’s, this is by far one of the most extreme Hollywood makeovers I have ever seen — are YOU shocked?
Vanessa Hudgens has pulled a Charlize Theron in Monster and undergone a serious transformation for her upcoming movie Gimme Shelter! The Disney beauty has traded her long and full locks for a messy and uneven ‘do and her glowing skin is now pale and sickly. Further more, her killer bod– which I am fully aware of because I was a full on stalker of her and Zac Efron’s relationship, which seemed to take place only on a beach– now looks huge, heavy and super frumpy!
Vanessa, a mini style icon, is also far from red carpet ready in very oversized men’s clothes that could have easily been found in a dumpster in the 90s.
I think the reason I may be most shocked about Vanessa’s new look is because it seems very early in the stars career for her to be taking on such a serious role that is so drastic from what she has been known for. Though stars her age have definitely succeeded in roles of this kind, they have not climbed to stardom through Disney shows and movies like Vanessa. Vanessa was only just in the last High School Musical film in 2008! And even though Beastly and Sucker Punch were more adult films that were a bit racier, they still don’t seem to be at all close to the level that this new film is reaching.
Vanessa, don’t you think you should have done a few more movies first before taking on such a racy part?This would have allowed you to transition appropriately from Disney star to full fledged adult actress.
Vanessa herself seems to be aware of her full fledged makeunder, writing on her Facebook wall about about the movie– “I’m so excited and proud of the work I’ve been doing and let me tell you, you all are going to be SHOCKED with how I look in this movie. It’s crazy sauce.”
