Latina magazine just released brand new quotes from an interview they did with Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony only A FEW WEEKS AGO! Jennifer gushes about Marc but then says something a little peculiar. Things seemed to go south so quickly!
We are still reeling from the news Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have separated after their seven year marriage. It’s always sad to hear of a marriage ending, especially since twins Max and Emme are involved, but it is especially tragic when it seems like the break up came out of left field. Only a few weeks ago Jennifer and Marc spoke with Latina magazine to promote their upcoming fashion and lifestyle collection at Kohl’s and their new reality show, Q’Viva: The Chosen. In quotes that now must be heartbreaking for Jennifer to read, she explains why she and Marc work. “We love each other, more than anything,” she said.
“Marc and I really do understand each other. We know each other’s hopes and dreams, we know each other’s strengths, we also know each other’s weaknesses, so in a way, we’re the best gauge of how we can be the best in everything that we do,” Jennifer told Latina.
The singer went on about how much she loves Marc. “You know, we respect each other, we respect each other’s opinions, and we love each other, more than anything. He wants me to be successful, I want him to be successful, he wants me to be happy, I want him to be happy, and all those things make for a very good combination in work, and in life.”
Aww! It’s so sad to read these quotes knowing it didn’t work out for the couple. However, Jennifer may have hinted that things weren’t 100% amazing. Hindsight is 20/20 but her choice of words seems a little odd:
“Yeah, I do believe in fate, I really do,” she responded when asked if their relationship was fate. “And I believe in destiny and I believe that things are going to be what they’re gonna be and for whatever reason, we were meant to share this time together.”
Do you think “share this time together” is her way of saying things happen for a reason, whether or not they don’t last? Or are we reading too much into her quotes?
Either way, she was gushing about her love for Marc only weeks ago. (Latina has yet to release his quotes and the rest of their interview). The only thing I cna imagine is that she found out Marc slept with someone on the road. It’s nuts to me. Unless, there is someone else she flipped for If Marc became too controlling and not attentive enough that would be a disaster for Jennifer. This woman needs to feel loved & if Marc started to slack off, out you go! I liked them together even though she jumped into it because she was so very heartbroken by Affleck. I totally believe that Affleck met Jennifer Garner on location for a film and that was the end for Lopez. Afflect never admitted our of respect fo JLo.
