Casey is amazingly UNHAPPY with the result of her murder trial. She wants to get the four guilty verdicts she was handed for providing false information to the police overturned!
Casey Anthony‘s defense attorney, Jose Baez, filed a notice of appeal at the Orange County Courthouse today, July 15!
The jury found Casey guilty of four misdemeanor counts of providing false information to a law enforcement officer regarding the 2008 disappearance of her daughter Caylee, 2, back in 2008.
The lies — about where she worked, who she knew, and the identity of a fictional nanny she accused of kidnapping her daughter — hindered the police search for Caylee.
She even admitted she wasn’t telling the truth, once cops found ways to disprove her lies.
Despite the verdicts and the maximum sentence she was handed, Casey will still walk free from jail on Sunday, July 17. So why is she appealing?

First her reason for acting the way she acted (LIES) was because she might have had a problem, and now she is saying she never lied. So Jose never lied either, his entire story was that she is a liar and some nasty female name. Can Jose be charged with perjury if he is stating that Casey never lied. No Universal job, no Zanny, no going here and going there no sawgrass. So since he said they were all lies and now he is retracting them is he saying he committed perjury? I think his oath is covered by the Bar. Did she get a legitimate passport. I want to start a movment that none of my taxes goes to her protection or to hide her from Morgan and Morgan.
