I was blown away when I dined at this French-Italian restaurant for a business lunch!
The beautifully modern restaurant set on the second floor in the Setai Hotel is a real treat, and a must for everyone to visit at least once! The decor of the restaurant is extremely chic, beginning with a huge bar when your first walk in. It’s the perfect spot for late night drinks with your girlfriends, or casual drinks with a date.Having not eaten all day, I decided to skip an appetizer in favor of getting two entrees — but I might have just used that as an excuse when really I couldn’t decide which entree I wanted! I started with Tortelli filled with ricotta and mascarpone raviolli, boschetto cheese, and a red wine glaze. I can say that this was one of the best things that I have eaten in my 21 years. I have never heard of red wine glaze before but it was the perfect last addition. I then moved on to the White Label Burger. Again I was astonished as I had never eaten such a succulent and fresh tasting burger before.
Before I could continue onto dessert,I met with chef Michael White, is only 40 years old and already considered with some to be among the best in the world. On top of that he is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. Wow, like this restaurant could have gotten any better!
Now if for some bizarre reason I have not yet convinced you to pick up the phone to make your reservation let me tell you about dessert. We shared two things, Blueberry Streusel Cake and the Citrus Tart. YUM! Let’s just say I have had to go to the gym double the amount since finishing this.
I can’t wait to go back and I’m sure I’ll be seeing all of you there!
