The final installment of the series is finally here — and it’s the best one yet!
Let me preface this by saying I’m a HUGE Harry Potter fan. Not only have I read every book, but I also always stood in line at Barnes & Noble at midnight to pick up my pre-ordered copies. (This was always very entertaining, as I was surrounded by people who probably did believe they were witches or wizards as they twirled their wands around and said “expelliarmus!”) My point being, I take my Harry Potter very seriously, and I’m not afraid to say if I feel the films are not portraying the story properly. So when I say that was not the case here, you know that was NOT the case! The second part opens right where the first one left off: Voldermort has the Elder Wand and Harry is sitting over Dobby’s grave. Though it’s been a year since we last saw them, no time has passed in the land of witches and wizards.
Now, I can’t give too many specifics here because I don’t want to ruin it for anyone, so let me give you the general overview: The film is incredibly well done, combining witty humor with intense drama. This is definitely the saddest film of the series, as the final battle ensues between Voldemort, the Death Eaters, the Order of the Phoenix and everyone else who is a part of the resistance. I’m not gonna lie, I did shed some tears, and they were definitely well deserved!
As Harry, Hermione, and Ron continue their journey to find and destroy all seven Hoxcruxes, they face dragons, dementors, and giants (OH MY!) Harry and Voldemort also finally come face-to-face in an epic battle we all knew was inevitable. Who will live? Who will die? You’ll just have to see it to find out for yourself!

What happened to Sofia?! She was really good – why isn’t she writing anymore? Out of everyone working for HL, it seems that Sofia is the only one a fan of Harry Potter!!
