Team Demi
LOVATIC***
Demi is amazing!!
Her voice resinates from the speakers and she sounds amazing!
There is absolutely NO comparison between Selena and Demi because DEMI LOVATO won!!
I mean…#1 on iTunes within 20 hours is unbelievable – this is because of her talent, raw emotions that got her there=)
I hope the world will begin to respect and aknowledge her, her voice is AMAZING whereas Selenas…

Dear Bonnie: Demi has overcome some serious obstacles in her life and for that she has not been in the music industry lately but now with her “SKYSCRAPER” single, this is her long awaited comeback!

It is proven that it is long awaited because she beat the odds of Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Adele, Beyonce and dominated the iTunes charts to #1 within 20 hours without a promo!

Why can’t you see this and truly attribute her success by glorifying her success in a main article JUST ABOUT HER without comparing her to Selena Gomez…

Ally: omg i LOVE Demi’s new song definitely something all girls can relate to everyone go through there rough patch of feeling like nothing and everyone is against u very inspirational.n who says is just an anthem for girls who have been called UGLY.Demi is definitely the better singer. she needs no auto tune unlike selena gomez.Omg have you ever heard selena sing live its horrible. shes only good on the low parts. but Demi is just the total package.

You praised Selena’s success on her own – Just let Demi shine as the star she is…

Lilly: Both songs are good. But,Demi lovato is an inspiration and a strong person! For god sakes shes the only one in disney channel who does not use auto tune, you can actually hear the pain in this song . i love demi lovato !!!! <3

Team Selena

Kelly: Selena Gomezis Awesome!!!
People say she hasn’t been through much on her life but she was also bullied when she was young!
She was even locked in a washroom in her school
And she has been getting lot of hate nowadays
I won’t say she is a better singer than Demi but she has gotten so much better!!!!
And u prefer Selenas song better cause I just do!!!
And all you haters need to STFU

Selenator: All you Lovato fans hating on Selena are full of anger and hatred. You say that Demi has suffered and then you do the exact same thing to Selena! Selena is more talented, inspirational and kind than you will ever be. We support Selena forever no matter what. Your hate filled words don’t bring her down. She takes strength from her fans.

Gabrielle: All you Lovato fans hating on Selena are full of anger and hatred. You say that Demi has suffered and then you do the exact same thing to Selena! #SelenaAmazing

Not everyone picked a favorite. Close to 9% of you said BOTH songs are great!

Team Demi & Selena

Julie: some people are saying oh, demis song is better because she went through all of those troubles. yes, demi did go through that and i still love her and i <3 this song but i also love selenas song and she has been through the hate that beliebers send her because she is dating justin and her song is about being who you are and ignoring the hate which relates to her being hated on by the beliebers so this has a real relation to her life just like demis song does and plus i am proud of selena for not caving into the fame and doing something horrible like so many celebrities have done. so i support both the songs and they are both great so why cant we just leave it at that instead of starting a war over which song is better and more inspirational.

Sandra: I think we Selenators all must agree, It’s Demi’s moment & Selena supports her 100%!
We Selenators & The Lovatics need to support each other, not create hate. I am in such agreement with you, both have a very beautiful message, and yes Demi is a much gifted singer, Selena & we know so! She doesn’t plan on giving challenges to someone she deeply cares about!
SELENA & DEMI FOREVERRRRRR, Capeche?
Damn it, ENJOY THE MUSIC PEOPLE!!!

Then there were some of you that thought NEITHER song was inspirational!

Ami: The truth is that i don’t like either of them . I mean their music ,which is soo common . Of caurse it’s not that i hate them or sth like that. Just the question of the ‘Most Popular Inspirational Song Of The Summer!’ seems quite silly 2 me when their songs are not at all inspirational ,with no True and Deep meaning (only superficial ) and everyone will forget them soon…Plz don’t reply to me ,accusing me etc . Just think clearly and truly , even you ”crazy” fans .. Are they really worthy singers ? Are their song really inspirational? And even if u reply yes because you just ‘Love’ them so much.. Are they themselves worthy of being followed by millions of people .Of caurse not, they were just lucky .And this is the only reason you must be happy 4 them. Learn to look up to worthy people.. thank you 4 your time :)

I completely agree with the last comment made. I like Demi, and I like selena. I think they’re both talented girls, but does anybody deserve to be followed by so many people around the world? I mean, there are twitters for charities like TWLOHA (To write love on her arms) with barelu 10,000 followers, and they’re the people who are actually making a difference in so many people’s lives. If these two girls are worthy of 3-8 million followers, aren’t we all? What makes them so special? other than the fact that they’re famous. Both songs can be considered inspirational to certain people, but songs like “beautiful” by christina aguilera and “voice of truth” by casting crowns, are the true inspirational songs. But that’s just my opinion. I don’t think anybody is more worthy than others. You can diss me for saying this if you like, I won’t really care. I just thought I’d put that out there.

I do NOT hate Selena Gomez, and neither do I believe that her song “Who Says” is bad or that it isn’t inspirational. But when it comes down to it, I personally believe that Demi’s song (Skyscraper) has much more meaning and depth to it. To Selena fans: I’m sorry, but I can’t really relate to a song written because of hate-mail from “Beliebers.” The lyrics of Demi’s Skyscraper are much more symbolic and deep. While Selena’s song is generally about being who you are and not letting people tell you otherwise, Demi’s touches not only that, but rising up and beating the odds and defeating whatever it was that was holding you down. it’s about strength, and never giving up, and that it’s never too late for change. So, yes, while both songs a very good, I believe Skyscraper is more inspiring and must take the sides of the Lovato fans. Not to mention, Demi has an amazing voice, with a great range and clear tone (:

STOP COMPARING DEMI AND SELENA! TIRED OF SEEING ARTICLE, TWEETS, OR WHATEVER PEOPLE SAID ABOUT JUST TO COMPARE BOTH OF THEM. Everyone is unique with their own talent. Both Demi and Selena are now success with their own career. So, STOP HATING! STOP COMPARING!!! #RESPECT

This is a post about wat song was more inspirational yet all they talk about is who has the better voice. Yes demi has voice but tht doesnt mean it will make the song better if wats important is the message behind it both songs are wat fans need right now since theres so much discrimination going on. If u listen to the lyrics who says and skyscraper its has a very powerful meaning tht has motivated many ppl…. Selena and demi have been friends since they were 7 yrs old nd even if there not so close together they still support eachother.. Demi said tht selena supported her when she was in rehab meaning tht they still caree for one another so dont trash either of them with hateful comments otherwise u wud somehow offend the other person.. Im saying tht BOTH songs are very inspirational nd y shud we arguye if both songs have the same meaning to it:)

come on now… demi has a long history of drug use and partying and covering it up with her bullying-eating disorder story. im glad she sought help, but even in her interview with ryan seacrest she sounded way too fake. if she’s going to come clean about the bullying, eating disorders, cutting.. she should come clean about the drugs. period.

I agree, and she said she recorded this song in 2010.. I do like the song lyrically, but her voice is kinda awful.

She said in a previous interview that she admitted to taking certain substances. I guess you don’t like to listen to people do you? Moron

Of course they’d say that. Selena stole “their” man so they’re going to hate her no matter what she does.

FYI, just because someone likes Demi’s song better doesn’t mean that they want Justin. I liked her song better and I can’t stand Justin Bieber. Anyways, I don’t think they should have made another post about this. Because the last one had so many arguments. D:
