Sources say that Brad is distraught! He can’t get over that he messed up his relationship with Emily — and has been drunk dialing her and crying!
Bachelor Brad Womack just can’t accept that it’s over with his former fiancee Emily Maynard. Even though Emily officially stated that “we’re not engaged anymore” during the July 11 Bachelorette special, Brad’s still hanging on to the hope that he can win her back!
Brad has been totally distraught since the split, lamenting that he lost his chance, a source tells US Weekly.
Another source even claims that Brad’s drunk-dialing Emily! “When they weren’t together, Brad would drunk-dial Emily and cry,” says the source.
And if rumors are true that Emily may become the next Bachelorette, it would totally crush Brad. “It would kill him,” a friend reveals.
Brad was too distressed over his heartbreak to appear with Emily and host Chris Harrison to face the breakup, so he let Emily appear alone on the July 11 special. Chris and Emily have both shared that it was just too emotional for Brad, who spoke on the phone with Chris before the interview.
While they are no longer engaged, Emily reaffirmed that Brad will always be a part of her life — and that they stay in touch through phone calls and text messages. She still loves him, but just can’t marry him because she doesn’t believe that he would be there for her and her 6-year-old daughter Ricki for the long haul.
Even though Brad and Emily remain friends, it’s still not enough for Brad. He wants her back in his life!
BFFs — do you think it’s time that Brad lets Emily go, or should he continue to hold on to the hope that they can try again?

Brad, I was watching when you were wooing Emily and knew it was doomed… any used goods tramp who puts her ugly kid with a bad attitude over you is really not a great deal. Did you look up Emily’s past? She is a racetrack groupie. Brad you are the full package: good looks, career, sweet, strong. Find a NICE girl. Stop looking in the bar (where mostly just hookers and drunks hang out). Stop looking on the reality shows (where mostly attention whores hang out). Go find a nice girl in church or the library. Dont tell her you have money. Let her like you for YOU.
