Justin Bieber wants to make sure his fans are safe and never text and drive! He’s such a role model!

Justin Bieber knows how to let loose and have fun during his free time but he also finds it important to dedicate himself to causes he’s passionate about. The singer is taking a strong stance against texting and driving, partnering up with PhoneGuard Inc. to discourage cell phone usage while driving. “We need to change the attitudes in our society toward texting and driving and I am making it one of my personal goals to make this happen,” said Justin.

PhoneGuard has a “Drive Safe” app that will disable keyboard functions on a cell while in a vehicle going faster than 10 MPH. The Biebs will work with them to promote this software suite.

This isn’t the only thing Justin does to fight against texting and driving. “Every night we perform we have a banner that goes up that says ‘Don’t Text and Drive’ so it really means a lot to me,” he said. Justin’s also offering financial support to charities fighting for his cause.

Do you think Justin can help caution people not to text and drive? We think it’s great he’s using his fame to help others learn about the dangers of not paying attention while driving.
