Style-savvy Rihanna has landed a new gig: She’s been tapped to be the face of Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans, the Italian fashion house announced Monday.
The singer will appear in ads for the fall-winter 2011-2012 collections, which were shot in New York City and debut in September.
Giorgio Armani has a long roster of celeb alum, including David and Victoria Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Megan Fox, the latter of whom currently appears in ads for Armani’s beauty collection.
Rihanna often wears Armani gowns at red-carpet events, and she is friendly with Giorgio Armnani’s niece Roberta—with whom she was spotted with in Milan in early May. Roberta handles VIP relations for the multi-million-dollar fashion brand.
