After leading his polo team to a 5-3 victory at Saturday’s charity game at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racket Club, Prince William snagged a silver-and-gold trophy—and a congratulatory kiss from Kate!
William walked up on stage after the spirited match, and swapped pecks on the cheek with his new bride Kate—decked out in a hand-painted chinoiserie silk dress by designer Jenny Packham—who handed gifts in duck-egg blue Tiffany boxes to all 12 players who had participated in the match. (Check out the kiss around the 1:30 mark in the video!)
Kate also posed for photos with William and his teammates as they held the massive trophy, which weighs 15 pounds!
“A storybook ending here at Santa Barbara,” the annoucer said at the match, which was held in aid of the American Friends of the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry.
The newlyweds were then whisked away, made a quick wardrobe change, and headed to the BAFTA “Brits To Watch” gala at L.A.’s Belasco Theater—albeit, an hour late!
