Drita and Karen tell HollywoodLife.com exclusively that they are trying to be ‘cordial and cool’ because of their kids, but they will never be true friends again!
During the season finale of Mob Wives, stars Drita D’avanzo and Karen Gravano got into a massive battle that made their relationship seem beyond repair. The fighting continued during the reunion on July 10, but both women agreed that the regretted the rooftop sprawl. Now both Drita and Karen tell HollywoodLife.com exclusively that they are trying to move forward past their problems because of their daughters, but the reaffirm that they will never be “real” friends again!
“I did [approach her and say sorry at the finale party] because of my daughter [Aleeya, 11] and her daughter [Karina, 12],” Drita confesses. “It was really uncomfortable. When her daughter was looking at me like that and my daughter was looking at Karen very nervously — It was horrible. My daughter asked me, ‘I see you’re not comfortable?’ I said, ‘No this is just a show. We can overcome anything — talk to Karen and apologize.’ And she was like, ‘Oh OK, good.’ So I told Karina, ‘I’m sorry if you feel uncomfortable,’ because I felt horrible.”
Because of the kids, Drita apologized to Karen for attacking her. “I went up to Karen and I said, ‘Look, it is what it is, but I feel bad how it ended because we have kids,’” recalls Drita. “If we didn’t have kids, I don’t think I’d feel this way, but I do being a mother.”
Karen agrees that she doesn’t want their daughters to feel bad. “Karina’s seen the fight and it’s really hard because our kids have seen each other through filming, so to me it’s like our kids have become friends and how do we move past it,” Karen tells us. “I don’t want the kids to feel uncomfortable. I feel like the kids have nothing to do with it. I’m mature enough to act accordingly because I don’t want to have to feel uncomfortable in any situation that has to do with me and her.”
But Karen reveals that she will never truly be friends with Drita ever again. “My relationship with her is just we’ll never be friends,” fesses Karen. “I’m over the Drita/Lee thing. I don’t want to give them anymore of my breath.”
“Saying sorry and being friends are two different things,” says Drita. “I can’t see being friends with her. I just want to be cordial with her. We’ve got to work together to be smart. Our daughters like each other.”
And both women also agree that they want to move on past the big battle.
“I have more important things to focus on than Drita D’avanzo,” notes Karen. “I’m focused on my daughter, my book, a movie deal on the table and my skin care line. She needs to stay in her lane and I’ll stay in my lane.”
“I definitely want to move on because I don’t think it will ever end,” Drita adds. “I’m way too prideful and thinking about things said that pissed me of–f I don’t want to go there. I have too many things going on and I am so done with that conversation, it’s not funny.”

Karen will NEVER be over Drita & Lee, Karen is the only one fanning the flames of stupidity and now her dumb sidekick Ramona is doin same. Karen needs to GROW UP and be a real mother to her daughter instead of living her life as if she is still 21 doin knock down drag outs in bars, at parties, whatever. Grow up Karen, and as for Ramona, there are no words for that skank
