Orlando Bloom’s supermodel wife was in so much agony she had an out of body experience and genuinely feared she would die!
Miranda Kerr chose NOT to take ANY pain medication when she delivered her baby son Flynn in January, and admits she almost instantly regretted the decision! Can you relate, HollyMoms?
“I actually thought I was going to die at one point and left my body,” Miranda, 28, tells Australian InStyle. “I I was looking down on myself – the pain was so intense.”
“I kept thinking, ‘How do women do this?’ But if other women have done this, I can do it too. I was determined.”
Wow, that sounds terrible. Thank God everything worked out OK for Miranda, husband Orlando Bloom, 34 and their beautiful baby son Flynn.
What do you think about Miranda’s decision NOT to have an epidural or take any other pain meds, HollyMoms? Is a ‘natural’ and medication-free birth realistic?

I think SHE’S the big fat baby. I had my daughter without any meds, not even a local anaesthetic for my stitches afterwards. I couldn’t have an episiotomy because I got to the hospital too late. I tore badly…went back to school & regular daily movement two days later. You suck it up for the sake of your child. It is not a huge ordeal, childbirth. It’s a blessing that some hopeful women may never get to experience.
