Ben admits that he’s falling in love with Ashley, but frontrunner J.P. seems to fall behind as he complains to Ashley about her connections with the other guys!
Bachelorette Ashley Hebert and her six remaining men travel to Taiwan during the July 11 episode. With the hometown dates looming in the back of everyone’s mind, the competition grows fierce — and one guy in particular doesn’t handle it all too well. Rumored winner J.P. Rosebaum grows super jealous as he finds out that Ben Flajnik stays overnight with Ashley — and then watches Ames Brown and Lucas Daniels make out with her during the group date!
Constantine Tzortzis gets the first one-on-one date. They take a train to a tiny village outside of Taiwan to go to a lantern festival. After painting their wishes on the lanterns, they share dinner. It seems that their relationship is moving slow. Constantine hasn’t fallen in love yet, but thinks he still may. They then let their lanterns go into the sky and kiss. “This is probably one of the most romantic nights of my life,” Ashley gushes. “I’m so excited I connected with Constantine.”
Ben goes on the second one-on-one. Ben takes Ashley on a romantic motorcycle ride through picturesque gorges. Their chemistry is undeniable. “I’m happier than I’ve been in a long time,” Ben admits. They stop and lock lips on top of a wooden bridge.
Ben basically fesses to Ashley over dinner that he’s falling in love with her.”You’ve got me in this place, I’m on the tipping point of having stronger feelings than just liking you,” he says. “I don’t throw the L word around. I’m cautious who I say it to. A lot of it came pouring in today. This feels good and I’m ready to open up again. I cherish the moments we share together. Getting butterflies in my stomach — these are feelings I haven’t gotten in a long time.”
Ashley feels the same way. “I think that I may be falling in love with Ben,” she reveals. “I feel like he’s my boyfriend. That’s honestly how I feel.”
Oddly, Ben doesn’t return home that night from the date. The next morning, he’s still missing and J.P’s not happy about it. Ben finally shows up and brags about spending the night with Ashley, even though they didn’t sleep in the same room.
Lucas, J.P., and Ames leave for their group date. Ashley takes them to pose for a mock wedding photo shoot. As Ashley kisses Ames and Lucas, J.P. gets even more jealous. “I’m ready for this group date to be over,” he whines.
J.P. confronts Ashley. “To watch you go out with other guys, I don’t want to do it,” J.P. opens up. “It’s been terrible. I was not in a good mood. I don’t know anything that’s going on. It made me crazy. I guess it’s jealousy, but I guess it’s kind of normal. When you feel this way about someone, everything changes.” Ashley gives him the rose.
Ashley ends the dates with a one-on-one with Ryan Park. They go to a temple and then share a picnic by a pond. Ryan blabs on about water heaters, clearly boring Ashley. Ashley tells him that she doesn’t feel any connection with him. “I’m not feeling it,” she says with tears in her eyes. “I respect you so much that I don’t want to put you through the rose ceremony.”
Ryan is sent home after the date. During the rose ceremony, Lucas is the other guy to be sent packing.

I think Ashley is extremely shallow but I am glad that she didn’t pick Ben…he was really too good for her. Her sister was right…she will not ultimately be happy with JP.
