The Real Housewives of New Jersey kicked off the holiday season with family fun, feuds and feathers trees.
All I can say is at least no tables were flipped! These Italian housewives actually celebrated the holiday season in peace as the Gorga family joined the Guidice family and friends for a party at Jaqueline’s house.
After Melissa Gorga and Teresa Guidice finally made up and decided to move forward once and for all, Melissa’s family begins to bring their families together by attending Jaqueline’s holiday party.. .and to my surprise it was a complete success! Such a success in fact that the Gorga’s sort of won over Teresa’s friends at the party– leaving Teresa a little jealous and of course, rolling her eyes.
“They’re not that bad,” Carolina Manzo admits about Melissa and Joe Gorga.
Hmm. Could we be seeing more of Melissa and Joe Gorga mingling with Caroline Manzo and Jaqueline Laurita?
In the meantime, Melissa continues to pursue her career as a singer. Record producers pay a visit to her home and tell her she has what it takes to become a superstar, but they say it’s going to take a lot of work. So much work in fact that Joe Gorga decides to build Melissa a recording studio in their basement
While the Gorga and Guidice families were smooth sailing— the Manzo family had some bumps in the road. Caroline’s daughter, Lauren Manzo, has a breakdown and cries because she feels left out of her family. Ever since her two brothers, Albie and Chris, have moved to Hoboken, New Jersey, together she feels like they have forgotten about her. Of course, this is completely false, and the brothers give Lauren a key to visit any time she wants. And then Caroline purchased a feather tree, as opposed to your traditional pine Christmas tree.
Next week is Melissa’s big Christmas party, and even though everything seems to be drama-free tonight, that’s definitely about to change.
