Kourtney’s mom Kris desperately wants her grandson Mason to have married parents — but Kourtney is in NO rush!
Kourtney Kardashian stood her ground on the July 10 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. When Kris Jenner tells Kourtney that God wants her to marry Scott Disick — Kourtney tells her to back off.
“That’s not up for discussion, nor do I care what anyone’s thoughts are,” Kourtney retorts when Kris asks if she’ll marry Scott. “I definitely don’t want to get married just for the sake of getting married. This is my life. I don’t need a piece of paper to make it a family unit. I don’t want to get married right now [and] I don’t have to listen to my mom or anyone else!”
I totally understand why Kourtney feels uncomfortable when Kris keeps harping on the subject of marriage. She and Scott have been together for years and it’s her decision as to whether she marries Scott. But Kris embarassing Kourtney at the union of Pastor Bob — now that crosses the line!
“When Mason was born, Scott was more of a hot mess, but now he’s really turned his life around and been amazing,” Kris says. “He’s such a great partner to Kourtney. I don’t know what Kourtney’s reservations are, why she’s holding back and being so stubborn.”
Shockingly, little sis Kim Kardashian agrees with mom Kris and tells Kourtney it’s a mistake to not marry Scott. I couldn’t help but feel horrible for Kourtney. It makes sense as to why Kourtney has reservations — her own parents divorced when she was growing up.
But if Kourtney still doesn’t know if Scott is the one … then maybe she needs to get out?!

I totally understand where Kris is coming from, Kourtney should be married before she and Scott have anymore kids, I mean they already live together and have been together for awhile. Why not make the union official legally and in God’s eyes. However, I do see why Kourtney would want to wait with the rocky past that he has.
