Jaycee speaks out for the first time about the elation that came after her ‘painful’ birth outside of medical attention!
Jaycee Dugard is opening up about her terrifying past as a kidnap victim of Phillip and Nancy Garrido — and all of America is eager to hear her heartbreaking tale!
Jaycee, now 31, speaks to ABC News correspondent Diane Sawyer in an interview airing July 10. She describes the horror of giving birth in 1994 — at age 14 — in the backyard of the kidnappers’ home. She wasn’t allowed medical care — she just had to deliver outside, where she had been kept.
“I saw [my baby],” she says. “She was beautiful. I felt like I wasn’t alone any more. I had somebody who was mine. I wasn’t alone. And I knew I could never let anything happen to her. I didn’t know how I was going to do that, but I did.”
