Prince William and Kate Middleton have arrived to the A-list charity polo match in Santa Barbara, and Will wants to make one thing clear: he didn’t show up to lose!

“Catherine and I have had a busy few days so the prospect of being able to let loose this afternoon is wonderful for me,” 29-year old William told the awaiting crowd shortly after arriving to the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club in Carpinteria, Calif. on July 9.

But it was when he was asked if he’d ever return to Santa Barbara that the Prince’s charm shined. “That depends on the result out there today -– I’m not a good loser,” he quickly joked.
