This morning, Jenelle was rushed to the hospital and HollyBaby.com exclusively learned that she has cysts on her ovaries. Experts tells us that although it’s not serious, Jenelle might need surgery to remove them.

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans was up all night with stomach pains before throwing in the towel and heading to the hospital to find out what was wrong. And good thing she did! Experts tell us her condition could get worse over time, although it’s not at all abnormal for young women.

“Pelvic pain could be a sign of a ruptured ovarian cyst,” obstetrician Dr. Lissa Rankin of OwningPink.com says. “Sometimes, extended cycle birth control, like Seasonale, is helpful as treatment.”

But another expert, Dr. Tara Solomon tells us that Jenelle might need to have the cysts removed.

“Ovarian cysts are what remain after a women ovulates every month,” Dr. Solomon explains to HollyBaby.com. “It can either be filled with clear liquid or blood, but they are usually benign.”

“When they reach the size of 5 cm or more, they can usually be removed laparoscopically via a minor surgery with no permanent damage.” Good news!

So Jenelle, if your condition gets worse, get those cysts checked out! Get well soon!
