Sorry, 'Twilight!' 'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2' Is The Biggest Premiere Ever!

Thu, July 7, 2011 2:15pm EDT by 15 Comments

The phenomenon that started more than 10 years ago begins its epic conclusion July 7 with the London premiere of ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2′ — and no expense has been spared to make this an event to remember!

The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 London premiere has begun and there are no words to describe the epic proportions to which the studio and celebs alike have gone to make this quite possibly the biggest movie opening of all time…and we thought Twilight was a big deal!

First, Trafalgar Square in central London has been shut down entirely for Harry Potter. (Typically, it’s used for political demonstrations and New Years’ Eve celebrations!)

Plus, there is an unbelievable guest list packed with the who’s who of London’s A-list stars including Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Tom McFly, Ollie Locke, Mollie from The Saturdays, Darren Criss, Ralph Fiennes, Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman, Michael Gambon, John Hurt, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman, Robbie Coltrane, Julie Walters and Tom Felton.

Not only are the celebs expected at the premiere comparable to those at the Academy Awards, but each cast member is arriving individually. Typically, leading actors arrive within seconds on each other and walk down the carpet within arm’s length, but that’s not the case with Harry Potter!

Ultimately, the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 premiere marks the end of an era. The first Potter film hit theaters in 2001 — and now, 10 years later, we’ve reached the finale. These fans started their love far before Twilight even existed — making it quite possibly the most epic premiere of all time.

The Rob and Kristen love tandem on and off screen is one of the reason why TWILIGHT became a success. Harry Potter is a big big production with all star cast, but the lead characters Daniel Radcliff and Emma Watson doesn’t have the on screen chemistry. Robert Pattinson is tall, oozing with sex appeal and very much attractive than Radcliff. Daniel although cute is shorty and bland. Twilight also have Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart. The love triangle of Bella, Edward and Jacob created a strong attraction for the fans especially the teenage girls! Fans love the love story of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart off and on screen, that’s why we should not under estimate the power of TWILIGHT as compared to Harry Potter. Can you imagine TWILIGHT versus Harry Potter? It’s like David and Goliath! but there’s one powerful potion that Potter doesn’t have, and it’s obvious! The powerful love story of lead stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson on and off screen! Yes it’s true that Harry Potter had the grandest premiere recorded in history, but you wait for the premiere of Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn, it might be simple as compared to Harry Potter but try to look at the faithful and loyal fans! It’s not only because of the movie, but obviously because of the lead stars Rob and Kristen!

What are you on?! Firstly Steward has NO facial expressions. Period. Secondly, the overly, lovey-dovey relationship between the Twilight cast looks absolutly pretentious. It’s not acting when your actually dating too. There is a stronger bond and more loving relationship between the Golden Trio of Harry POtter than the three statues of Twilight – evident in the emotional speeches given by each one at the premiere. Anyway, this is not about their relationships on or off screen. Ths SHOULD be be about great literature and great film, in which Harry Potter epitomises. Twilight will never shut down BOTH squares in London, because it’s just not as widly recieved by sch a wide audince. That. Is. A. Fact. Twilighters have hung onto their biggest opening, now all they are left with is the MTV award for best kiss – wheyyy!

the only reason twilight even makes any money is because of teenage girls, they rule the world because they go crazy. twilight really has no story line, its just your typical mushy love story. yawn. harry potter has everything, and will live on forever, honestly. yes this is a biased comment but its the truth. this series has entered the league with lord of the rings and star wars. its been along the side of a generation, its captivated the hearts of every man, woman, girl, boy, child, and adult. im proud to be a potter fan, since the day the 1st book came out. think about it, look how far harry potter has come! 14 years and it still has a strong fan base! that is amazing, just as star wars and lord of the rings has done. hp all the way.

again with the comparison! O.o they’re both very different in every way except for one thing: they’re both phenomenal! HP is more deep and most of us grew up with it! reading HP feels like you’re part of it, going to hogwarts and all those adventures, i remember HP was used to be put up against LOTR and most people say “oh HP is just for kids while LOTR is epic!” but look at HP now~! it’s the same thing w/ Twilight~ I can honestly say for one thing, that the writing of the book cannot be compared to HP…JK made the a whole different world, Twilight caters to hopeless romantics or at least girls who enjoy romance stories of a secret forbidden love but light as it might be we can’t deny that it made people feel…i just read it to decide on my own if it’s really good as my cousin says or overrated as some of them would say… and i was shocked myself! i read lots of books but until then the only time that i cannot wait to read the book as soon as i bought it and read it 24H straight, not eating or speaking to anybody was the HP series! i was at loss after the books were done..i’ve read a few but the excitement isn’t the same, so there i was reading twilight thinking “this might be lame” and ended up clutching the book all through the night not sleeping until i finished it! i was like addicted and i cannot do anything else until i get through the story! i’ve read all four books one after the other and i’m not even a hopeless romantic~ so really let’s not compare and just be happy that these two great stories were written and now we’re almost at the end with the last books finally at the cinemas! so enjoy!

SCREW TWILIGHT.
HARRY POTTER LIVES ON FOREVER!!!
IT’S HORRID TO EVEN COMPARE SUCH A CHEESY TEENAGE BUDGETED SERIES TO A REAL WORK OF ART SERIES, A SERIES THAT NOT EVEN MEYER CAN RELATE TO J.K ROWLING, A true woman with real ways of entering our heart with such meaning and god gifted love.
