Karen wants her daughter Karina to learn that fighting is never a smart move unless you are defending yourself!
Fighting is never the answer! But for Mob Wives star Karen Gravano, when she feels trapped in a corner, she’s going to defend herself. And during the season finale that’s exactly what happened when she tumbled to the ground in a hair pulling, bloody battle with her co-star Drita D’avanzo. The only problem is that Karen has to set an example for her 12-year-old daughter Karina.
“I’m embarrassed,” Karen tells HollyBaby.com exclusively. “I don’t want my daughter to see me fighting on television.”
Unfortunately Karina did see the big fight between her mom and Drita. “Karina’s seen the fight and it’s really hard because our kids [Drita and Karen's] have become friends,” says Karen. “I don’t want the kids to feel uncomfortable.”
But Karen tried her hardest to explain what happened to Karina. “I just told her that basically me and Drita have so much history and we had a friendship and there’s a lot of hurt and a lot of things that went on between the both of us,” shares Karen. “But at the end of the day, I think that Karina knows me to be an honest person and also knows me to be an emotional person. When I get hurt, that’s how I act.”
“She’s definitely confused,” continues Karen. “But she just took it as we had a fight and hopefully in her mind we can just make up and move past it.”
Through all of this, Karen’s trying to show Karina how to learn from her own mistakes. “I never want Karina to fight,” she reveals. “But also when you’re pushed up against a wall, I want her to know you have to defend yourself.”
“I always want Karina to learn to defend herself and stand up for what she believes in,” adds Karen. “And hopefully it never gets to the point of someone having to fist fight because I never want to see my daughter fist fight. But if that’s what it comes to, then you have to defend yourself.”

Karen and Drita need to work this out. Drita, had your back when you returned to SI. Dont forget where the real loyality stood then. Just makeup for the sake of the girls, if for nothing else. I know you ladies love your girls. Besides, your both beautiful.See all the trouble men cause…thats what really erks me. Please, just get beyond this. Besides it will be great for the show. To show that real problems and issues can be worked out with out fighting. You both need to meet alone…W/O The outside influence of Ramona(Whom nobody should trust) and talk about all this and work it out. Good Luck ladies! I know you can do it..Stay out of it everyone else..Let them work this out.
