Don’t believe those reports about Kim Kardashian getting married in October: She’s confirmed that she and fiance Kris Humphries will walk down the aisle any day now!
In an interview with Kim in Cosmopolitan‘s August issue that landed on newsstands this week, journalist Ky Henderson writes, “In fact, she told us by the time you’re reading this, she may very well be hitched.” Cosmopolitan’s next issue will be out by mid-August, so Kim’s really narrowed down the wedding’s time frame!
Kim says she’s antsy to walk down the aisle and have a summer wedding. “When you know you want to spend your life with someone, why wait? Plus, Kris has time off over the summer from playing basketball, so it makes sense.”
The engagement announcement came just six months after Kim and Kris began dating, after mutual friends invited them to a dinner to meet each other. “I thought he was cute, and he gravitated toward me because I was so anti-relationship at that point,” she tells Cosmopolitan. “He wasn’t used to that.”
And it didn’t take long for Kim to realize she had found a soul mate: “I knew he was The One,” Kim says. “Often in relationships, you try to mold yourself into someone you think the guy wants. But with Kris, I was totally myself from the get-go. And he was everything I’d ever wanted in a man.”
Meanwhile, Star magazine is reporting that he wedding’s cost has already doubled from $10,000 to $20,000. To keep things in comparison, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding cost about $60 million. The magazines cites a source who claims, “Kim is already inviting at least 1,000 and the list is getting longer.”
