The down to earth Duchess left her high-fashion frocks at home when she stepped out in a more laid back look in Yellowknife — she even re-wore her boat shoes! Do you like it better when she’s dressing down?
Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge may look so chic in a slew of sheaths, but she knows how to dress down — especially when she’s flying! Although considering every time she flys she pulls an outfit swap, I wouldn’t count on seeing Kate emerge in the same casual get-up! On this occasion on Jul. 6, Kate boarded a plane in Yellowknife, Canada clad in her second look of the day — a casual, yet still neat and chic pair of cropped J. Brand jeans with a button-down shirt tucked in. She completed the look with her Sebago Bela boat shoes — they seem to be her go-to pair of flats for the North American tour!
While getting dressed up in an array of conservative chic dresses may not be the hardest job in the world, I’m sure jetting around Canada is getting tiring for the royal couple — it’s no surprise Kate needs to take a break from dressing up and throw on jeans once in a while! It’s just another way she shows off her down-to-earth and relatable side.
