Jennifer Aniston reveals on her upcoming episode of ‘Inside The Actors’ Studio’ shooting ‘The Breakup’ was actually cathartic and eased the pain of her divorce from Brad Pitt!
Jennifer Aniston surprised the world when she starred in the film The Breakup with Vince Vaughn, since the storyline seemed to mirror what happened in her real life. However, in her upcoming episode of Inside the Actors’ Studio the 42-year-old actress opens up about her decision to take on the film and how it actually helped her get over Brad Pitt.
“It was just a beautiful story about a couple breaking up. And I was slightly familiar on the topic and the issue. And I sort of honestly felt like, what a great way to sort of exercise some of that,” she said.
“I enjoyed it. It really enjoyed it. You would think otherwise, because even the producers were like, ‘I don’t know if we should ask you to do this,’ but I was like, why not? Turn the page, let’s move on.”
We’ve speculated so much about Jen’s love life, it will be nice to hear her discuss it openly in her tell all interview, which airs on Bravo July 11 at 8 p.m.
Plus, now she has a new man — and she actually seems happy again!
More Jen!

I like Jennifer Aniston’s movies (she’s fun to watch as Rachel on Friends or in any other movie), but I find her extremely standoffish in any interviews people do with her.
I love Inside the Actor’s Studio (especially the interviews done with Betty White, Chris Rock, Will Smith, Michael J. Fox, and Dave Chapelle), but she shouldn’t have appeared on it. She and Pitt divorced six years ago, and this is the first time I really felt like she’s milking pity from the public.
Courtney Cox is going through relationship problems and she’s just extremely open about them. She even got cheated on by David Arquette, but she handles the attention on it so well, in an open and honest way. It hasn’t even been a year since they broke up. They haven’t officially divorced even, though it’s probably headed that way. But you don’t see her being bitter and angry about it like Aniston is.
Aniston even said that they would only stay married until they felt like they weren’t happy together anymore. Neither of them believed in marriage being forever. Plus, she got divorced six years ago. They really didn’t have a great or fairytale marriage because they were both working a lot for much of it, except for times they went on vacation.
And now this interview shows how angry and bitter she is on the inside, and how deeply unhappy she is with herself despite being a major star, having friends, and being financially secure.
They need to media train her into being more likable rather than saying sarcastic and angry things, because then anything she says that’s positive doesn’t ring true, and she’ll continue to be tabloid fodder forever. How long until the magazines start writing, “Jen at 56: Still Bitter that Pitt Left Her, Insists She’s Happy.”
