A source says that Emily plans to use ‘The Bachelorette’ to further her career in broadcasting!
Emily Maynard may have been heart broken when her engagement to Bachelor Brad Womack ended, but it looks like she may soon be getting another chance at finding love as ABC’s The Bachelorette! “She hasn’t officially signed on yet, but it looks like a done deal,” a source tells Us magazine.
Though Emily has said in the past that this was “the last thing on [her] mind,” that idea seems to be changing. Emily is seeing this as a chance to bolster her career in broadcasting.
“She’s an aspiring television host,” the source explains. “The Bachelorette will give her exposure again.”
If Emily does go through with this, it’s definitely a plus that’s sure to increase ratings as “they know she’s a fan favorite,” adds the insider.

Why does it ALWAYS have to be someone from a prior season? I am so sick of recycled Bachelor/Bachelorettes. Someone new would be so much more exciting! And as far as having Emily as the Bachelorette. I just don’t like it. I don’t think she was completely honest on the show. I think she has other motives. And, as so many have stated before, she just shouldn’t put her daughter through this again…and so soon! I mean, wasn’t she just on TV crying over Brad and their break-up?
