Vinny storms out after a fight with a roommate and reports he is homesick, but without him the show will be awful!

Vinny Guadagnino has always come across as the most low key and, dare say, boring of the Jersey Shore cast mates, but news he was departing the show were somewhat upsetting. Without him we are left with a bunch of drunken hooligans and no real voice of reason!

To be fair, Pauly D can at times be a calming presence, though after 9 pm every evening his focus seems to turn to more primal concerns. JWoww could also maybe fill Vinny’s role, though the lovely men of Jersey Shore have always seemed wary of female voices or concerns.

With Vinny go tensions will no doubt be raised to fever pitch in the clan’s small Seaside Heights abode and, while the drama makes the show what it is, a smell respite from the asinine antics is often welcomed and generally provided by Vinny. Furthermore, while a relatively dim bunch, Vinny is far and away the brightest.
