Nancy Grace‘s much-anticipated reaction to “tot mom” Casey Anthony‘s murder acquittal is in—and she’s furious, albeit not that surprised!

“Talking about the facts and evidence in this case, there is no way that this is a verdict that speaks the truth,” Grace, who’s meticulously covered the Anthony case on her HLN primetime show, said this afternoon.

But Grace appreciates that Anthony was given a trial, a jury of her peers were the ones ultimately responsible for deciding the outcome—not the public at large. “Having tried so many cases and watched so many cases I know, and I take that as part of our jury system that this is a part of our system, but its tough to swallow,” she said.

Grace continued of the not-guilty verdict: “Its tough. It’s tough when you think about Caylee, and you think about this evidence, and you think about all those days that ‘Tot Mom’ went about partying as if Caylee had never existed and today in a court of law thats what the jury said.”

Grace also said that Anthony, who once faced the death penalty but now may walk free, stood to profit greatly from her case with a “big fat book deal” or a “made for TV movie” but would “run right through” any dividends.
