Casey Anthony Is Found NOT GUILTY Of Murdering Her Two-Year-Old Daughter Caylee!

Tue, July 5, 2011 2:26pm EST by 27 Comments

The 25-year-old broke down in tears as the shocking verdict was read out in court.

Casey Anthony was found not guilty of first degree murder, manslaughter and aggravated child abuse. Of the seven charges she faced, Casey was only found guilty of four counts of providing false information to a law enforcement official. Are you shocked? Is this the right verdict?

It took less than two days of deliberations for the jury to reach their verdict — which will be a shock to those who were convinced of Casey’s guilt from day one.

It still leaves huge questions marks over Caylee’s tragic death. The two-year-old’s body was found in woodland near the Anthony family home in Orlando, Florida, in December 2008 — six months after she first disappeared.

Casey initially claimed her daughter had been kidnapped by a nanny, but she later changed her story, alleging Caylee had drowned accidentally in the Anthony family swimming pool – claiming her body was moved by a meter reader who was seeking a reward.

Casey won’t walk free yet. She will be sentenced on Thursday July 6th for lying to the police and faces up to a year in prison for each of the four counts.

I have followed this trial from day one. There was just not enough evidence to convict Casey. This is the law, the prosecution did not prove the case. It was strictly circumstantial. None of us were there when Caylee passed away, therefore we do not know what happened. All the prosecution did prove beyond a shadow of a doubt was the Casey is a liar.

I don’t feel like Casey was the best parent in the world and there was no justice for that beautiful little girl, but the jury has spoke and she was Not Guilty. I am a mother of 3 children and there is no way in hell that I could hurt them, but not all of us are good parents.

The only way that little Caylee is going to get any peace or justice is if we let her rest in peace.

I’m in total shock. How can this happen. Now GOD will have to deal with this. The jury will have to answer also. May they all rot in Hell for they all played a part in freeing a murderer. Atot that had no chance in life but her mother that can live the life she always did and will. I only wish that Casey and every one involved in this injustice will never be able to have a good night sleep. The jury now becomes criminals as they have abetted the most evil person. I wish nothing but the worst for all that played a part.
How a majority of people thought she was guilty turn completely the opposite is more than unbeleivable. O.J Simpson trial verdict was thought of as shocking but this is another level of evil that happened. This world has proven once again what is so wrong. Hell awaits all and you know who you are.

Where will she go? Can’t go home, she accused her father & brother of sexual abuse, destroyed her family without batting an eye. Hope Baez has an extra room for Casey. Hey he could give Casey a job as nanny for his daughter!

She’s a pig. If there is a God he’ll make sure she dies the way her daughter did. The jury is probably the same ilk as OJ’s. They just want to go home. Who cares about justice anymore. What a country.

I absoloutely shocked. Casey Anthony is a disgusting human being. I actually cried when the verdict was read out.

Rest in peace, beautiful little Caylee. Hopefully someday, you’ll get the justice you REALLY deserve and your horrible ‘mother’ will be locked up and the key thrown away.

So people go to jail for killing & fighting dogs, raped women who kill their attackers go to jail, but a woman who KILLS her daughter gets to walk away free of charge! America you have failed & i am embarrassed to be an American today. I hope those jurors and Casey will never get sleep after such a horrible decision

I so agree!! have been waiting for the guilty verdict and so angry she has gotten off!!! AM following this in Australia and admit have not heard all the facts but have heard enough to know she is guilty and she so lucky to have gotten off. If she didn’t do it then who did and why haven’t they been brought to justice?? It is because she did it and her parents are hiding this fact!! What sort of grand parents hide the death of their own grand daughter!!! So disgusted when people go to jail for so much less !! Casey you are so lucky and I hope you never have anymore children so they don’t have to go through having you as a mother!!! I hope that precious Caylee can find peace now after never having found it in your insane family!!

all you people were not in the court room you were not there when the death occurred yet you act like you know……. that is what is disgusting.

Of course it is so sad this beautiful little girl passed away by some unlawful act but just what unlawful act? we do not know what happened.

12 jurors who sat through 8 weeks made their opinion known but this does not mean Casey is innocent of everything just the charges.

maybe she got drunk passed out was a bad parent and didn’t realize the child went out back and fell in the pool.

does this make Casey a bad parent hell ya but a murderer no.

i can’t believe she didn’t even get accessory after the fact. not reporting your daughter’s disappearance for a month is giving assistance to someone who committed murder. this verdict is disgusting.

She should still be held accountable whatever happened!! A normal person would admit what happened expecially if an accident!!! she’d probably get off but what’s with all the lies and stories etc etc it just doesn’t add up!!!

someone that would hurt or kill their own child that they loved and made is sick. she should have been sentence to prison for the rest of her natural born life. Hello she lied and lied and lied again, and still she is found not guilty. there is something wrong there. why would you have a child to begin with? Huh Casey. She is a liar and she should be in prison for the rest of her life, to know that what she did is so wrong and she shouldnt be aloud to see daylight again. this is for all you mothers out there. do you really want someone like her to be around and walking down the streets when your children are playing or whatever. How do we not know she is gonna do it again?

Jury was inept?

I haven’t been following the trial at all.

The only reason I can see this happening though is if there was no real evidence proving she did anything relating to the death. Even if all signs point to her as the guilty person, unless there is evidence. The jury can not convict.

Emotion and assumptions are not supposed to play in here. If there was only some lies and stories from people that’s hardly hard evidence. From what it sounds like.. shes guilty.. but as I said you can’t convict on assumptions or likeliness. The system exists this way to prevent people from being falsely convicted. If she was found guilty with no actual evidence…. well how easy would it be to frame someone then?

Ok she should at least got charged with child abuse becasue she waited so long to report the girl missing. And then if she did drown then why did they hide the body. This is an injustice to Caylee. But I know one day when she goes in front of God she will be found guilty.
