Amanda Seyfried is known for her girl next door look, but it seems that she may be trying to spice things up with her new cut. The shorter length is also great for summer — there’s less hair to heat her up!

Amanda stepped out July 4th weekend sporting the much shorter new style and I have to wonder what sparked this hair transformation. Could it have been her heart reeling from her breakup with Ryan Phillippe earlier this month, or her possible reconciliation with ex Dominic Cooper? Whatever the cause, I think it’s great to see the young actress having fun with her looks.
