The country rocker had his family in mind when he scheduled his 2011 ‘Get Closer’ Tour. It’s all about his girls!
“When I put this tour together, I structured it so I’m only gone maybe two or three days, maybe four days, – sometimes I do four days in a row,” Keith Urban tells People. Waiting for Keith at home, of course, is Oscar winning wife Nicole Kidman, 43, and their two daughters: Sunday Rose, 3, and Faith Margaret, six months.
Keith, 43, said he plans to go home every few days in between shows, “I don’t go out for weeks and weeks and weeks at a time,” he says. However, when the tour hits Canada in September for three weeks, “I’ll bring the girls out for some of that run.”
But when little Sunday comes, Keith may need to make a few changes to the show!
“When we did the halftime show at the Dallas Thanksgiving game, she was very concerned about the pyrotechnics,” Keith says. “And it was so funny because I thought it was exciting, but she came up afterwords and said, ‘Daddy! Fire! The fire! So close to the fire!’” Aww!
