Only one away from the big 5-0! Tom Cruise sure has a lot to celebrate this weekend!

We first saw him in The Outsiders in 1983, but since then Tom Cruise has made headlines, starring in films like Jerry Maguire, Vanilla Sky, and War Of The Worlds.

Tom was first married in 1990 to actress Mimi Rogers. When they divorced the actor/producer moved onto his Days of Thunder co-star Nicole Kidman and together they adopted two kids, Isabella, 18, and Connor, 16.

Today, Tom is married to and crazy about Dawson’s Creek and The Kennedy’s actress Katie Holmes, 32. They had a daughter named, who is none other than celebrity kid prodigy, Suri in 2006.

“That they find out what gives them pleasure so it’s not work,” he told Celebrityparenting.com last year about what he wants for his kids. “That they’re happy. I’ve been fortunate to have that myself…I wish that for them. I want them to produce in life and help society.”
