Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Romantic Canadian Boat Ride!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spend time away from pomp and circumstance — and the photographers!

Prince William and Kate Middleton kept busy during the July 1 leg of their Canadian Tour — and we’re now learning that the pair stole away some private time on a long, leisurely boat ride in scenic Canada!

Will and Kate, both 29, ditched the paparazzi and crowds to head to a secluded log cabin at Harrington Lake in Quebec’s Gatineau National Park, the Daily Mail reports.

The house is a frequent stop for Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, and the couple holed up in there for four hours before resuming the formalities of their stay.

Freedom of the City Ceremony at Québec City Hall – *Public Event*
Their Royal Highnesses experience the Freedom of the City Ceremony that acknowledges the relationship of trust and friendship between Québec City and the Royal 22 Régiment service members.

3:30 p.m.

Lévis Community Celebration – *Public Event*
Their Royal Highnesses will join the community in celebrating the 375^th anniversary of the Lauzon “seigneurie”, the 150^th anniversary of the founding of Lévis, and the 10th anniversary of the new City of Lévis.

Arrival in Prince Edward Island
The 2011 Royal Tour of Prince Edward Island begins with the arrival of Their Royal Highnesses at Charlottetown Airport.
