Kate looks so royal in her purple dress — and celebrated Canada once more with her beautiful maple leaf brooch given to her by the Queen!
Prince William and Kate Middleton thrilled Canadian spectators by attending a beautiful celebration for Canada Day on Parliament Hill on July 1 — and they can’t help being lovey-dovey!
Will and Kate, both 29, looked great at the celebration. Will was casual-cool in a coat with his shirt unbuttoned and tieless, making him seem more down-to earth than ever. Per usual, Kate was the main attraction, with a chic purple Issa Jersey dress. She accessorized with her Maple Leaf brooch given to her by Queen Elizabeth, which she had worn earlier in the day. The maple leaf, of course, is deeply symbolic in Canada — what a great gesture by Kate!
The event brought more than 100,000 people to see the numerous performers, as Will and Kate looked like they were having a great time during the proceedings for Canada’s 144th birthday. They stayed for half an hour, heading home to get some sleep for their next big day.
Another milestone? Kate’s dress marked her fifth quick change in 24 hours!
