The down to earth Duchess broke out the infamous dress from her engagement photos, marking the second time she has reworn a dress in just two days — she really is just like us! She added a Maple Leaf brooch she borrowed from the Queen — get all the details here & check out all her looks so far!
If you thought you had the perfect outfit for Canada Day, think again — Kate Middleton is obviously taking home the best dressed title. She showed her appreciation, wearing Canadian colors and sporting a Maple leaf on her dress and fascinator — which is the national symbol of Canada. Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, may be royalty — but that doesn’t stop her from wearing her favorite frocks over and over again. While in Canada on July 1 during the North American tour, Kate broke out the white Reiss Nannette dress that caused a frenzy after she was seen holding on to Prince William in their engagement photos — but she made it pop with bright accessories, including something special & Canada-themed from the Queen!
Her dress had a fresh, Canadian take thanks to a diamond maple leaf brooch that belongs to the Queen. Princess Elizabeth also wore the brooch on her first visit to Canada, back in 1951. She also added red pumps and a custom-made red fascinator by Sylvia Fletcher at Lock & Co with a Maple leaf! A tan and red clutch by Anya Hindmarch completed the look — and we love how Kate is so practical, re-wearing some of her favorite outfits on her highly anticipated trip!
Do you agree or do you think it’s time she broke out some new, more high-fashion get-ups?
