R&B singer, dancer and actress Beyonce Knowles sent a surge of energy through Central Park on ‘Good Morning America’ – Girl power radiated from the stage through the overflowing crowds that spilled outside the concert’s barriers.
Beyonce Knowles has being going strong for 15 years, and the fans that showed up to support her at GMA’s Summer Concert Series were die-hard devoted. Police were on duty, keeping the crowds under control and blocking entrances to the already over-capacity concert area, and HollywoodLife.com was there to see it all!
Beyonce has just released her brand new album 4 and performed fan-favorites, such as “1+1,” “End of Time” and “Run the World (Girls).” She even performed her smash hit “Single Ladies” — and the crowd couldn’t have been more excited! Backup dancers in tow, Beyonce shook her bootylicious body all over the stage, and she looked amazing doing it!
With her crazy big hair and striking yellow fringe getup, Beyonce popped on stage — not to mention her gold, sparkly shoes that Robin Roberts deemed ‘fierce.’ But pain doesn’t stop this girl! “Sometimes they’re numb. Sometimes they bleed. It’s just like a ballet dancer. But I don’t even think about it. I’m just usually so focused on the stage and the connection with the audience, I don’t usually feel my feet until I leave the stage.”
One Beyonce fanatic cried during her idol’s show. “I thought it was amazing. She’s such a good performer. She reaches out to her crowd and makes them feel like she loves each and every individual one.” And it’s so true — the concert stage was transformed to include a runway that jutted out into the crowd, making sure this loved celeb could get up close and personal with her fans.
Fans can’t wait to see Beyonce grow even more and went as far as putting her in the same list as Michael Jackson. “She’s making her way. She’s doing such a good job.”
Other fans called the R&B artist truly inspirational, referring to the star’s comment about taking some time off. “I think that’s the best thing a girl can do to get her herself straight.”
The feeling was collective when one fan said what every other person in the crowd was thinking: “She’s a perfect role model. She has a lot of power. She’s a strong woman and a good influence.” That’s just what the almost-30-year-old Beyonce wishes for, to spread a positive message through her music.
And just because her album has been released doesn’t mean she’ll be going into hiding anytime soon. Beyonce is returning to the big screen in Clint Eastwood’s A Star Is Born. We can’t wait! Can you?
