Dia Frampton may have been the runner-up, but her ’30s inspired Phillip Lim dress certainly stole the show last night!

For the season finale of The Voice, Dia Frampton dazzled with old hollywood glamour. From the sheer beige top to the small but striking crisscross detailing from her waist to her shoulders, it was a timeless dress — but it wouldn’t have been possible without the help of her mentor, Blake Shelton!

Not only did Blake’s wife, Miranda Lambert, join the contestant on stage to perform ‘The House That Built Me,’ but the couple showed their generous support to Dia by buying her dress because it went over the wardrobe budget.

Dia told reporters last night Miranda was the opposite of a diva when the duo chatted about what they would wear on their duet. “She called me and said what are you wearing? I want to match you,” revealed The Voice runner-up. “[Miranda asked] ‘What color do you want to wear? What kind of dress do you want to wear? Do you want to go classy, do you want to go elegant?’ I was expecting her to call me and be like ‘I want to wear pink, so we’re both going to wear pink. Not that I’ve heard bad things about her, but she’s a superstar you know?”

Dia described how she ended up getting her Phillip Lim dress: “We actually decided on black and I got this dress and we tried on a lot of different options. I was talking to Erin from wardrobe and I said ‘I really like this dress’ and she said ‘It’s really cute but it’s out of the budget from the show. And today I was like, ‘What am I wearing?’ I was kind of looking at the old black dresses [...] and then wardrobe pulls out this one and they were like ‘Here you go’! I said ‘I thought this one was out of the budget and she said, ‘Oh Miranda saw it, Blake saw it, and they bought it for you.’ That’s how they are, they are so genuine,” exclaimed a happy Dia.

After a dream performance wearing a dream dress from two acclaimed musicians, who wouldn’t be glowing? Dia was and so was Blake -– he was definitely more than a proud coach. Jealous? We are!

That is really sweet. They sound like a really nice couple and down-to-earth. I am newly exposed to their music and so far love Miranda Lambert’s “The House that Built Me.” What a beautiful song.

I am so enamoured with Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, (Dia was my pick, although I really like Javier also) they seem like such great people. I recently started listening to country music a lot (due to that other show) and I am crazy for the genre! Blake and Miranda have become 2 of my favorite artist, they seem like they might be fun to party with also! Honey Bee, how fun is that song?
