Brad, who appeared on an episode of Jackass, texted Bam after Ryan’s tragic death.
Brad Pitt may be one of the biggest stars in the world, but he is not too big to reach out to former costars in their time of need. Bam Margera sat down with E! News to discuss the loss of his close friend Ryan Dunn and said Brad texted him after Ryan’s death. “I think it’s rad that, you know, people I talk to rarely, you know, can take the time to text me.” What a great guy!
Bam went on to say of his loss, “He was my best f–king friend in the world. It’s been five days now and I can’t stop crying man.”
Ryan, 34, crashed his Porsche in Pennsylvania June 20 killing himself and his passenger, Zachary Hartwell. It was not the first time Ryan was in an accident at the location, as Bam said he was with Ryan when he previously crashed in the same spot. “He flipped me in a car eight times at the same exact spot in 1996. Thank God I had my seat belt on, because Chris Raab put one on me, but my brother didn’t have one on. He flew 40 feet. Thank God he’s alive. But like, Dunn was always a maniac at driving.”
Brad appeared as himself on an episode of Jackass, pretending to be kidnapped while in LA.
It is great to know no matter how big he gets, Brad still cares!
