Sorry, gents: Pippa Middleton doesn’t appear to be back on the market as previously speculated.
In fact, she arrived hand-in-hand with her on-off beau Alex Loudon at Wimbledon on Wednesday morning, re-igniting buzz that the pair are indeed together—and that their secret engagement is back on!
Pippa, 27, and Alex, 30, sat next to each other in stands, and were joined by her parents Michael and Carole, who were spotted chatting up Alex, a former cricket player who now works in finance. (Other spectators included Prince Harry‘s ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy and U.S. Vogue editor Anna Wintour.)
“Alex is the nicest chap you could meet,” a source tells The Daily Mail. “He’s incredibly sweet, loyal, and adores Pippa, but they make a point of seeing each other very privately and don’t go to flash places.”
And another source scoffed at the idea that Pippa is torn between Alex and her former university roommate George Percy. “Pippa and George are friends, but that is all. Pippa doesn’t fancy George, she’s very into Alex.”
While all eyes were on Pippa and Alex’s PDA: Her dress prompted just as much buzz. Style-savvy Pippa dazzled the crowd in a tomato red linen Hobbs NW3 dress—which she wore the previous day while shopping in London!—tan espadrille wedges and a matching Modalu handbag. Kylie Minogue‘s younger sister, TV personality Dannii even tweeted, “Whoop #WeLove Pippa Middleton’s red dress @Wimbledon today. Tres chic!”
