Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour returns to Los Angeles for two special performances directed by the award winning Jamie King.
The electrifying production combines Michael Jackson music and choreography with Cirque du Soleil creativity and features over 60 international dancers, musicians and acrobats.
The show is written and directed by Jamie King, the world’s leading pop music concert director. Jamie most recently directed Rihanna’s world tour and has been the creative force behind Madonna’s tours for the past 14 years.
Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour returns to Los Angeles this Tuesday, August 14 and runs till Wednesday, August 15. The two day performances will be held at the Staples Center.
For every hit Michael Jackson song, there is a dance routine. There are 23 dance sequences to about 25 Michael Jackson’s hits. The show starts out chronically going from Michael’s time in Jackson Five up to his latest hits, including Beat It and Thriller.
Celebrities like Brad Pitt, Rihanna and Beyonce have been flocking to see the production which is the biggest traveling tour in the world. Eva Longoria is also a big fan of the King of Pop. She watched the show in Staples Center when it first opened and tweeted, “Amazing Cirque de Soliel show Michael Jackson Immortal World Tour! We miss you Michael!”
After Los Angeles, the show heads to Europe before making its permanent home in Las Vegas at The Mandalay Bay Casino and Resort in 2013.
