Kim’s closest celebrity friends have been told the date of the Kardashian-Humphries union and it’s in less than two months — are you waiting for your invite?
Kim Kardashian is getting the summer of her dreams. The reality star vowed to be married by 30-years-old and she’s making it happen with her early August wedding to her beau of only six months Kris Humphries. Invitations have yet to be sent out but celebrity guests who are lucky enough to have received a verbal invite have confirmed the date to PopEater’s Rob Shuter.
“I’ve been told a particular date,” Today Show host Kathie Lee Gifford tells Rob. “Darn right [she and husband Frank Gifford] are going to that wedding.”
A date’s been set but there are still several very important specifics that have yet to be nailed down. Kim reportedly hasn’t picked out a wedding dress and she’s still looking for the perfect venue for the ceremony.
“They are looking at private estates in Los Angeles, since location will make it much easier for guest flying in to attend,” a source says.
One of the reasons for the secrecy is matriarch Kris Jenner‘s insistence that they have the ability to plan every tiny detail perfectly.
“The last Kardashian wedding was insane,” a family friend tells Rob. “This time Momma Kris wants time to plan and prepare and make sure the entire family has time to enjoy getting ready for the big day. Kris deserves this moment … and she fully intends to make sure every detail is just perfect.”
But don’t be bummed if you don’t receive a coveted invitation! Kim is filming her road to and down the aisle for a 2-hour E! special!

Khloe is a lying B. She lied to her mother what she said to Kris Humphries. She liked to Kim too. She called her mother a wicked witch. She is rude, crude, with no morals or ethics. She is fat and ugly. Who would buy clothes to look like Khloe?!? No one needs a liar in their family who tries to bring others down with her ‘dirty fighting’. She is always trying to stir up trouble.
I like Kris Humphries. seems like a nice guy. Hope Kim can cut her mother’s apron strings and commit to her marriage.
Can’t stand Khloe. And for God’s sake stop messing with your hair. Its a compulsive habit that is tremendously annoying!
