Charlie Sheen has just signed a deal for a new sitcom and his character will be ‘very similar’ to his character on ‘Two and a Half Men’, who’s reportedly being killed on the show!

**UPDATE: TMZ reports “Charlie Harper”, Sheen’s character on his former show, will be killed off. Chuck Lorre wants to make sure Sheen can “never come back” and they might have his character die by driving off of a cliff, similar to Charlie’s cars which have both fallen over a cliff in real life. Ashton Kutcher will apparently buy Charlie’s house after his death. **Charlie Sheen has a new show in the works after losing his previous gig on Two and a Half Men! According to Radaronline, Charlie Sheen is working with Lionsgate Television to star in a new show. “Charlie’s character will be very similar to the one he played on Two And a Half Men, however the show will be a lot racier,” an insider tells Radar. Plus the source reveals he’s set to make more money than ever!

“Lionsgate Television will produce the show. They have committed to ten episodes up front with the option to pick-up and produce 90 more episodes if the ratings prove to be successful. This means the sitcom could be on TV for 8 years, which is a long time! It also means that Charlie will make more money than ever before!”

A racier and richer Charlie — is the world ready for that? Seems like an interesting venture to say the least.

The source continues, “Networks and cable are bidding on the show right now, with TBS being the front runner […] cable makes more sense because it offers more creative freedom.”

More freedom could mean more Charlie outbursts or comic genius, not quite sure which one it will be at this point in time, but we can’t wait to find out!

First he reportedly gets a television deal, then might he get more money, Charlie is always winning!

Update #2: TBS is saying they aren’t in talks for a new show with Charlie and Lionsgate has no comment.

What do you think about Charlie starring in a new sitcom? Would you watch?
