Prince William and Kate‘s nine-day tour of Canada kicks off in just seven days, and in anticipation of their arrival, the Canadian government has released a new, official photo taken in honor of their visit.
The photo was shot on June 3 by photographer Chris Jackson at St. James Palace, the London home William and Kate share with his brother Prince Harry on weekends, when they aren’t at their rented home on the Welsh island of Anglesey.
The newlyweds are psyched for their trip—which precedes their three-day visit to California—since Canada holds a special place in William’s heart, while Kate has never even been to North America. “Catherine and I are very much looking forward to our Tour of Canada,” William said. “We hope to be able to meet as many people as possible and to see as much of the extraordinary and diverse country as we can.”
He added, “I have wonderful memories from my last times in Canada, and as such we consider it a great privilege to have been invited to Canada for our first joint Tour.”

The only thing that I’m not crazy about in this picture,it’s their eyes. They kind of close them, like the sun annoyed them.Maybe that happened, since they are outside in a garden and the sun seems to be there.Anyway, that’s the only thing that I don’t love in this picture. But generally, they are perfect.Adorable couple<3
