Alexis’ dad Alex says his new son-in-law, who is older than him, is ‘the nicest man I’ve ever met in my life.’
Not only did 16-year-old Courtney Alexis Stodden have her father’s approval to marry 51-year-old Green Mile actor Doug Hutchison, but it sounds like he was thrilled about their nuptials! “Every father can only pray to have such a man behind their daughter,” Doug, 47, tells RadarOnline.com in an unspeakably weird interview.
Yes, those really are the words of Courtney’s 47-year-old father, who is four years YOUNGER than his new son-in-law. Alexis and Doug were married May 20 in Las Vegas.
Alex adds that Courtney is “one of the most level headed girls out there and I’m not just saying that because she’s my daughter. Doug is the nicest man I’ve ever met in my life.”
Once a daddy’s girl, always a daddy’s girl.
And by the way, these two aren’t breaking the law with their marriage! “Shockingly it is legal,” says top NYC divorce attorney Vikki Ziegler. “However generally you must have one parent or a legal guardian be present at the ceremony or a notarized document for the individual who is 16-years-old to get a marriage license. If you’re under 16, marriage can only be authorized under a court order. If the parents refuse to sign or give their permission then perhaps a court would intervene. Courts unless there is a crime alleged or committed generally do not step in.”

Im not knocking the age difference because im 20 years old and my fiance is 58. We stared to see eachother when i was 17. Im not with him for his money because we stared dating when he was unemployed and for a short time we moved into my parents house until he got his job at GE. My point is that love is love, age really is nothing but a number. So i do believe that love can be real even with the age difference, but i dont believe that this relationship is real. The connection shows between me and my fiance in a way that you cant deny. They come across as being so fake, at least courtneys side does. The clock is ticking though, she will be 18 or so she says soon, then what is she going to do when no one cares?? she will divorce doug and prob slut herself around hollywood to try and stretch her 15mins as long as she can. I give her to the age of 21 before she breaks down and ends up in an institution. The worst part of all this is that her parents are leading there daughter down this path and dont realize it like any other normal parent would. I hope her the best but im not confident it will turn out well for her!!!
