The funny stuntman’s accident has shaken many of his close friends.
Ryan Dunn was one of the silliest guys on Jackass, and his shocking death has rocked his tight-knit group of friends.
Many of his MTV contemporaries and acquaintances took to Twitter hours after his June 20 death to share their sorrow.
Johnny Knoxville, the de facto leader of the Jackass crew, wrote, “Today I lost my brother Ryan Dunn. My heart goes out to his family and his beloved Angie. RIP Ryan, I love you buddy.” He also posted a picture on his WhoSay page of Ryan in happier times.
Jason “Wee-Man” Acuna, another Jackass costar, wrote, “RYAN DUNN– a super awesome memory was at the J RODY walston & the business show!!! I MISS YOU BUD!! You were always a happy kick-ass dude!!”
Dave England, a third Jackass costar, wrote, “I love you Ryan. I’m gonna miss you bad”
Comedian Tom Green, who also had a shocking MTV show, wrote, “Just heard that Ryan Dunn from Jackass died last night in a car wreck. Rest In Peace Ryan.”
We’re so sad Ryan won’t be around any longer to have crazy adventures with his crew!
